Who we are
Cucumber Digital is an independent UK digital studio. For enquiries about this website or your personal information, contact hello@cucumberdigital.co.uk. Formal business owner details are being confirmed for the completed notice.
What information we collect
If you submit our contact form, we receive your name, email address, any business name you provide, the service you enquire about and your message. We record whether you acknowledged this notice. Our service providers may also process technical information to deliver the site and protect forms against spam. Please do not include passwords or sensitive personal information in your message.
Why we use your details
We use the information to respond to your enquiry, discuss a potential project and provide a quote if requested. Where you ask about a service, the lawful basis is generally taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; routine handling and security of enquiries may also rely on legitimate interests. We do not use contact form enquiries to subscribe you to marketing emails automatically.
Providers we use
Website enquiries are submitted using Formspree, which processes and stores form messages and sends notifications to our business inbox. We use iCloud Mail to read and reply to email. The site is hosted using Cloudflare Pages and loads typefaces from Google Fonts. These services may process data outside the UK; relevant safeguards and exact arrangements will be checked and documented before full launch.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiries while they are being handled and for reasonable follow-up and business-record purposes. We review information and delete it when it is no longer necessary, except where a legal obligation requires us to retain records. A more specific retention schedule will be confirmed before wider promotion.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct information we hold about you, request deletion or restriction, or object to certain processing. You can contact hello@cucumberdigital.co.uk to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
